Meet the Founder: Katherine Alleyne, PA-C
Katherine Alleyne is a dedicated healthcare professional with over a decade of experience, passionate about advancing wellness through personalized and compassionate care.
From the Classroom to the Clinic Born and raised in New Orleans, Katherine is a proud alumna of St. Mary’s Dominican High School. Her journey in science began at the University of New Orleans, where she earned a degree in Biology. Before entering the medical field, she spent time as an educator, teaching Biology and Chemistry at Benjamin Franklin High School. This background in education deeply influences her practice today; she possesses a unique talent for helping patients understand complex medical issues.
Clinical Excellence In 2010, Katherine trained as a Physician Assistant at LSU Health Shreveport, obtaining her Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies in 2012.
Her career took her to Santa Barbara, California, on military orders with her husband. There, she worked in a high-volume Hand Surgery Center, gaining critical microsurgical experience. Upon returning home to the New Orleans area to be closer to family, she joined Ochsner, working first in Hand Surgery and subsequently transferring to Neurosurgery. In 2024, She obtained her Fracture Liaison Certification from the Bone Health and Osteoporosis Foundation.
A Passion for Patient Understanding During her time in Neurosurgery, Katherine discovered a specific passion for helping patients navigate complex brain and spine problems. She is deeply committed to personal health and wellness, with a specific focus on:
